The right fixture changes a room more than almost anything else you can do to it. Swap a builder-grade flush mount for the right chandelier and a great room reads completely differently the moment the sun goes down. We hang and mount light fixtures across the Phoenix metro, from a single pendant over an island to a two-story ring chandelier that takes scaffolding and three sets of hands. You pick the piece you fell in love with, and we get it up safely, level, at the right height, and dialed in on the dimmer. This is part of our electrical services.
Fixtures We Install
Most of our fixture jobs are pieces the homeowner already picked out and had shipped to the house. We hang chandeliers, including big multi-ring and orbital fixtures for open volumes; pendants, single and clustered, over islands, tubs, and entries; and linear and alabaster fixtures on flat and feature ceilings. We also handle the everyday lighting a home actually runs on, including recessed cans and warm cove LED lighting tucked into a tray ceiling. A house does not run on chandeliers alone, so we mix the statement pieces with a comfortable base layer of even light. Whatever the fixture, the work is the same idea: solid mounting, careful hoisting, and patient leveling so it looks like it grew there.
Heavy & Two-Story Fixtures
The hardest fixtures are not the fanciest, they are the heavy ones hung high. A large chandelier can weigh thirty, fifty, or even a hundred-plus pounds once it is fully assembled, and that load hangs from a single point in the ceiling, sometimes twenty feet up. We build scaffolding or bring in a lift so we can reach the ceiling and work at height with both hands free and a stable platform under us. Trying to do that off a ladder leaning into a two-story open space is how fixtures and people get hurt. Before the fixture leaves its box, we confirm the mounting point and install reinforced mounting, blocking or a rated brace and box, sized to the actual weight of the fixture with a margin to spare. We see plenty of beautiful fixtures hung off boxes that were never meant to carry them, and that is the part of the job homeowners should not have to think about. The last and fussiest step is leveling. On a ring fixture, any tilt is obvious from across the room, so we adjust the suspension until it reads dead level from every angle on the floor below.
Dimming & Controls
Control is half of a lighting package that looks professional. We set rooms up on dimmers so the same space can be bright for cleaning up and low for a quiet evening, and we make sure the dimmers are compatible with the LED fixtures, because the wrong pairing gives you flicker or buzz at the low end. We set the dimming up room by room so each space feels the way it is supposed to. And if a spot has no box or a fixture needs a new circuit, we fold the wiring in through our licensed electrical sub on the same contract, so the whole project stays under one roof.
What Fixture Installation Costs
A straightforward swap on existing wiring usually runs about $150 to $300. Large, heavy, or high and two-story fixtures that need a lift or scaffolding and reinforced mounting commonly run $500 to $1,500 or more, depending on the weight, the ceiling height, and how the fixture assembles. New wiring or a new circuit is quoted separately. We give you a firm number after a quick look at the fixture and the ceiling, not a guess over the phone, so you know what the job involves before we start.
Why Hire One Contractor for the Whole Package
Lighting work touches mounting, reinforcement, hoisting, leveling, dimming, and sometimes wiring. Hiring one licensed contractor, ROC #365090, to plan it and manage it beats lining up a handyman, an electrician, and a lift rental on your own. We can hang a single fixture or do a houseful, and tie in any new wiring through our licensed sub on the same contract. See more of our work on the services hub or in the project gallery.

Light Fixture Installation FAQ
Do you install fixtures I bought myself? Yes. Most of our fixture jobs are pieces the homeowner already picked out and had shipped to the house. You buy the chandelier, pendants, or whatever you fell in love with, and we mount it safely, level, and at the right height. We will tell you up front if a fixture needs reinforced mounting or new wiring before it can go up.
Can you reach a two-story or vaulted ceiling safely? Yes. We bring in scaffolding or lifts to work at height with both hands free and a stable platform, instead of leaning a ladder into an open two-story space. Two-story entries and vaulted great rooms are routine for us, and we set the reinforced mounting to carry the real weight of the fixture.
Do you handle new wiring if there is no existing box? Yes. Mounting and hanging fixtures is our standard work. If a spot has no box or needs a new circuit, that wiring goes through our licensed electrical sub on the same contract, so you still deal with one company.
Do you install ceiling fans and recessed lighting too? Yes. Beyond chandeliers and pendants, we install ceiling fans, recessed cans, and warm cove LED lighting. We can mix statement pieces with the everyday lighting a room actually runs on, and set it all up on compatible dimmers room by room.
